Advisory Committee: Now accepting nominations!

Deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, March 6.

The Pennsylvania Viral Hepatitis Elimination Coalition Advisory Committee provides strategic guidance on the development and direction of the PA Viral Hepatitis Elimination Coalition’s policy and advocacy activities. Further, the Advisory Committee will empower the Coalition and its members to help raise the profile of important issues with policymakers, both state and local; to develop priorities, timelines, and action items.



The Advisory Committee is comprised of five members plus the coalition’s co-chairs. Advisors are voted in and serve a two-year term with the option to be nominated and voted in by coalition members for a second term. Members may serve no more than two terms consecutively.



Advisory committee meetings are held via phone quarterly, with additional meetings held, as necessary. Committee members are expected to participate in monthly coalition-wide calls and attend in-person meetings, as necessary. If a member is consistently absent from monthly meetings, the committee may consider appointing a new advisory committee member to fulfill the current member’s role.


Nominations Process

Coalition members nominate individuals for the advisory committee and self-nominations are accepted. In the event the number of nominations exceed the number of vacancies on the advisory committee, all coalition partners will review and vote for five candidates. Planning Committee members are not eligible to sit on the Advisory Committee as to open leadership opportunities to other state leaders.
